Villa Tugu Pejeng is one hour drive from the airport and half an hour from the nearest beach, seven minutes from the center of Ubud, ten minutes from Gianyar, ten minutes from Tampak Siring (temple and natural sources), five minutes to Goa Gajah and less then one hour from Kintamani.

A few minutes walk from the house is a local market for fresh food, fruit, drinks, textiles, gifts or a very Indonesian haircut.

Pejeng has made history before Ubud and has seven temples and an archaeological museum. The spot where Villa Tugu Pejeng is build is called the navel/center of Bali. Any visitor will keep a different impression in mind, caused by the cycle of rice-culture that takes about four months. Some will see the naked sawah like a mirror, others see the fresh green plants and some will see the golden carpet, just before the rice is ready for harvest.
